Bergara B-14R Heavy Barreled Action

Thrilled with this purchase. By good fortune, I met Aaron of AandJ Sporting at the Bergara Experience a few weeks back in ID. They are the sole importer of the Heavy Steel barreled action. 1) the bbl extends past the end of the fore-end in an ACC Elite chassis, 2) the barrel weight shifts the balance center (even on the butt-heavy ACC Elite) to the front of the magwell before adding weights, and 3) flat out looks super. I'll get it out on the range this weekend to test some ammo. It's a Bergara-- I know it'll shoot. I can't see how to add a picture here or I would. 5 stars

Purchased this for my wife for NRL 22 and benchrest. Dropped it in an MPA chassis and topped it with a Vortex Viper Gen II 5-25. When I opened the box I was immediately impresses with the fit and finish. The barrel is only 2” longer than her regular B14r, but the diameter, machined stainless finish and two more pounds makes this an entirely different beast. This looks like it came from the custom shop, as there were many little details that were not on the regular barreled action we purchased a few months ago. Had it at the range today, at 50 yards it shot dimes and nickels with everything we fed it. Seems to prefer Center X with 5 consecutive 10-Shot groups all under 0.3”. It fed flawlessly, so a leg up on my Vudoo…. The ordering and deliver process was flawless and the value for the price amazing. Highly recommended!

This is my first rimfire gun since 7th grade when I got a 10-22 for Christmas. A buddy dragged me into precision rimfire and this was my choice. Slapped it into an Aero Solus competition chassis and boom. Instant accuracy. Shot it for the first time a few days ago to sort out ammo preference. Then shot it today at my first rimfire match. Ridiculously fun and accurate. If this is on your wish list, do not hesitate. It is a killer barrel and action, and A&J shipped quickly and made life easy.

I've mounted this to an MDT chassis and done some initial fire testing for break-in. No complaints so far. This barreled action promised to be a solid sub-MOA shooter.

I built my first one and it is my standard 22BR gun. I have built 5 for customers so far all have been very happy. Dealing with Aaron is the best. As the word gets out I expect to build more.
