L3I Single Feed Sled for Bergara B-14R

Given the design of the rifle itself, this item does as well as it can. The top of the sled is wide enough to do it’s job but the receiver is large enough to leave voids on both sides that can trap a cartridge such that the only way to remove it is to remove the sled first. The small ejection port adds to the awkwardness. A lighter color to add some contrast might be helpful. I also found that the new-production Eley bullet with its flattened nose hangs up on the edge of the chamber. For me, the easiest way to single load is to start the cartridge, regardless of bullet shape, into the chamber before closing the bolt. The whole process gets easier with a little practice.

Very satisfied with purchase and this seller. Plan to use the mag for shooting benchrest. Many say the single feeding the round is more accurate than using the original magazine but not sure I agree with that. Specially with this rifle and feeding system. However, for now I do prefer the single feed over reloading the mag or purchasing extra mags.

Feeds quite well, decent fit in mag well. Lift to chamber isn’t like a single shot ramp (ie Anschutz) but finger push on cartridge loads without damage to bullet.

Mag catch needed a tiny bit of filing...now it fits and feeds perfectly. Higher quality than I expected. Thanks for a great product!
