MDT DRT CHASSIS SYSTEM

The MDT DRT is an ultra-light folding chassis for Remington 700 short-action clone builds. A magnesium body and buttstock bring the full system to 3.2 lb, and it still carries a full-length ARCA rail, M-LOK forend, 20 MOA night vision bridge and a tool-less adjustable stock that folds over the bolt handle.

Construction

Stock

• Adjustable-friction folding stock folds over the bolt handle for transport
• Tool-less length of pull adjustment, 12" to 14.25"
• Adjustable cheek riser with foam insert
• Compatible with MDT LOP spacers and vertical buttpad base

Forend and rails

• Full-length ARCA rail, compatible with RRS Lock and ARCALOCK clamps
• M-LOK forend with integrated adjustable thumb shelf
• 13" skeletonized 20 MOA NV bridge for clip-on night vision or thermal
• M-LOK slots on the magwell side
• Bedding compound grooves in the chassis

Magazine

• Adjustable magazine latch
• Magazine release lock to prevent accidental drops in the field

Fitment: read before ordering

• Fits Remington 700 short-action clone actions with an integral recoil lug under 3/8" tall, such as Defiance, Impact, Terminus, Curtis and Lone Peak
• Factory Remington 700 and Bergara actions are not compatible without recoil lug modification
• Max barrel: 1.25" straight contour with the included spacers
• For NV use: muzzle diameter under 1.1", barrel longer than 15", and scope rings at least 1.5" tall. MDT does not recommend the spacer setup for NV or thermal use.
